Now that the wedding is over I can show off Amy's bridal portraits! Naturally we did not want her groom to be, Ryan, to see Amy in her dress. But now the image embargo can be lifted and I can let everyone see how amazing she looked in her dress. We had scheduled the session for the week before but mother nature did not cooperate. Since Amy wasn't looking to do a pre-wedding trash the dress shoot in the rain, we rescheduled for the next week. On the new date it rained hard again in the morning but the sun came out and cleared up the puddles. That can be one of the challenges with outdoor location shoots but I think results speak for themselves! In fact, because of the earlier rain the sky was dramatic and the colors more vibrant.
Because of Amy's connections with Samford University we were able to use the campus for the session. I was like a kid in a candy store! There were so many great location and backdrops on the campus that I had to limit myself otherwise we would have been there all day! Amy is truly a joy to photograph. She is so full of energy and it is hard to get her to stop smiling (not a bad thing at all)!
The dress came from The Something Blue Shoppe in Hartselle, Alabama. Amy's make-up was done by Rawwbeauty.
